Responsibilities
Applicants are sought for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Healthcare Administration position beginning Fall 2009. The position requires the ability to teach in the areas of health services research at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Normal teaching load is nine hours per semester. Publication history or research plan and a strong commitment to teaching are expected. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications. Texas State University – San Marcos provides competitive research support.

Qualifications
Required:
Candidates must have an earned doctorate and either a doctorate and/or a masters in Health Services Research or a closely related field.

Preferred:
Candidates should have either an emerging research record or a research plan.
