Responsibilities
A full-time (9 month) teaching position at the Lecturer rank (renewable annually contingent upon continuing departmental need) beginning in Fall 2010, to teach up to four (4) courses in each full semester and contribute departmental service as assigned by the departmental Chair. Teaching will occur primarily at the undergraduate level, but some masters level teaching is also a possibility. Applicants with teaching capabilities in all areas of criminal justice will be considered, but persons with demonstrated teaching capabilities in the substantive areas of statistics and research methods are particularly encouraged to apply.
 
Qualifications

Required:
Ph.D. or A.B.D. in Criminal Justice or a related field by date of appointment.
 
Preferred:
*Higher Education teaching experience in field of criminal justice.
 
*Some record of scholarship.
 
*Demonstrated ability to teach in substantive area of statistics.
 
*Demonstrated ability to teach in substantive area of research methods.
