Responsibilities
This is a full-time, nine-month tenure track position with a possibility of summer teaching. Applications will be accepted from candidates having interests in bilingual (Spanish-English-speaking) speech-language pathology or any other area of interest in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in communication disorders, conducting research, and providing service at the department, and university levels.
Qualifications
Required: Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Communication Sciences and Disorders. ABD candidates near completion will be considered for the position. Candidates must have a commitment to excellence in teaching and research, eligibility for clinical licensure in Texas, and ASHA certification.
Preferred: Candidates should have expertise in one or more of the following areas: pediatric or adult bilingual (Spanish- English-speaking) language acquisition and disorders; however, ALL qualified applicants with expertise in other areas of communication sciences and disorders will be considered.
