Responsibilities
This professor will serve in a new doctoral program in Curriculum & Instruction- Developmental Education and will have primary responsibility for leadership in the research component of the program. Other responsibilities include publishing research, securing external funding, developing and teaching graduate courses, serving on and chairing dissertation committees, and advising doctoral students.
Qualifications
Required:
- Earned doctorate in Education or a related discipline;
- Substantial and sustained record of peer-reviewed publications in developmental education, learning assistance, or related fields.
- Experience chairing dissertation and/or theses committees.
- Experience teaching graduate courses;
- Current rank of full professor or academic record commensurate will full professor rank.
Preferred:
- Experience teaching developmental education for underprepared college learners in culturally and linguistically diverse contexts;
- Administrative experience in higher education;
- Experience securing external funding.
